Preferences
Your currency seeds anything new you make — a trip, a ledger, an expense outside a trip. It does not re-price what already exists: converting a stored total for display would mean inventing a rate, and a figure you cannot check against the receipt is worse than an honest foreign one.
Tags
How you file trips and receipts — work, family, a retreat. Rename or recolour one and it changes everywhere it is used.

Your account
This build has no server configured, so everything lives in this browser. Set NEXT_PUBLIC_SUPABASE_URL and NEXT_PUBLIC_SUPABASE_ANON_KEY and an account appears here.
Syncing
Open this app in a second tab and the two stay in step: changes travel between them as operations, not as whole-state overwrites, so two people editing different things at once do not clobber each other. This works between tabs on this device only. Two devices would need a server to relay those operations and hold them for whoever is offline — no browser API makes that possible on its own.
Nothing else open. Open a second tab and change something to see it.
Your data
Everything on this screen is stored in this browser under travelplanner.state, which is yours alone: the demo and anybody else signing in here keep their own. Clearing your site data removes it. Nothing is sent anywhere, and opening the app on another device starts fresh.
